Check this video out…I’ve watched it ten times already. The music is super mellow, vibing well with the impressive stop-motion animation that makes those little Playmobil figurines look like they’re just shredding some epic waves.
Lino’, made by Karim Rejeb of KarimRejeb-SurfArt.com, is a masterpiece fit for anyone who has played with plastic toys. His vision of the world of surfing, as exhibited in massive tarp/towel breaks and full tubes, sets a standard that many surf, or action sport, films aspire to.
As a van-camper, I really appreciate Rejeb’s inclusion of the classic road-trip RV camper; there’s nothing like hopping in a beat-up old vehicle and cruising with your buddies. Especially if they look like that guy with the gray hair and long, gray beard! Toy hippies rock!

Phew…! Reminded me of the good ‘ol days at 41st Avenue at Soquel and Steamer Lane at Santa Cruz…but minus the salt and sand in the crotch. I was a few generations ahead of Legos, but watched my son create fantastic adventures out of plastic. But tarps and sheets…Yahoo!
